Feast of Bahá- Splendour
Bahá’í National Fund Update
$39.2M
As of March 17, 2026
As we were lovingly reminded in the message of the National Spiritual Assembly for the Feast of Bahá, the increase in the number of advanced clusters and collaborators increases the complexity of organizing various activities, and this, as well as the numerous projects related to the maintenance and improvement of properties, requires additional funding. The letter also shared:
"Dear friends, you are well aware of the statement of the House of Justice encouraging everyone to offer his or her time, energy, and material support:
[B]elievers also help their community by contributing to the Fund and offering other types of material resources. While all believers make contributions of this kind, for some believers of means, this is a way of advancing the Plan that they are especially well positioned to utilize.
Many of us living in this blessed country might be, relative to much of the world, considered believers of means that can offer such a service. As of this writing, we need to raise an additional $12.5 million by the end of April to ensure material means are available for the successful execution of all the National Spiritual Assembly’s critical initiatives."
In these few remaining weeks, together as Champion Builders of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh, we can arise with renewed devotion to the "heights of heroism" referenced in the Nine Year Plan and achieve the goal set before our community.
As Bahá’ís, we have the privilege of having a direct relationship with each of the senior funds of the Faith, while at the same time, also maintaining a direct focus on continually supporting the National Fund. Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith.
Fundraising
Below is a beautiful story shared with us by the Holladay, Utah community:
After reading the recent Feast letter describing the various needs and responsibilities of the National Spiritual Assembly, the small community of Holladay in Salt Lake County, Utah, felt deeply moved to respond. With sincere eagerness to support the National Fund goal, they organized an afternoon silent auction fundraiser on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
They informed the cluster and warmly invited the friends. The gathering was centered on touching the hearts—sharing passages from the Feast letter, reflecting on the importance of inclusion, love, and unity, and cultivating a spirit of collective responsibility and joy in giving.
Though the number of attendees was modest, the outcome was extraordinary: more than $19,000 was raised.
It is a beautiful reminder that when we place our trust in Bahá’u’lláh and take even a single step toward advancing His Faith, divine confirmations follow and efforts are richly blessed
Persian Bahá’í Media Service
The Persian Bahá’í Media Service, an agency of the National Spiritual Assembly, has touched countless hearts and continues to do so in the Cradle of the Faith and throughout the region. Through this sacred path of service, it strives to produce as much as its $1.7 million annual budget allows. Yet, even as these efforts expand, our brothers and sisters continue to yearn for more. In these especially difficult times, this service stands as a beacon of hope and inspiration.
The honor of sustaining this vital endeavor has been entrusted to the Bahá’ís of the United States. The spirit of generosity demonstrated at two fundraising gatherings held in early February in San Diego and Southern California bears witness to the love and devotion of the friends. Together, more than $270,000 was raised in support of this initiative.
When we unite in a spirit of love, fellowship, and wholehearted dedication, mountains can indeed be moved. Thank you for your continued love and steadfast support of this noble path of service.
Planned Giving
“To give and to be generous are attributes of Mine; well is it with him that adorneth himself with My virtues.”
– Bahá’u’lláh
An Easy Way to Support the Fund: Donor-Advised Funds
Planned Giving is a way to thoughtfully include the National Spiritual Assembly in your long-term financial plans while supporting the continued advancement of the Cause.
One simple example is making a contribution through a donor-advised fund. If you have a donor-advised fund—or choose to establish one with a sponsoring organization—you may recommend a grant to the National Spiritual Assembly, an easy and flexible way to support the work of the Faith.
If this possibility speaks to your heart, the Office of the Treasurer warmly invites you to explore it through reflection and consultation.
