Bahá’í National Fund Update
$26.9M
As of December 25, 2025
In their Mid-Year Reflections on the Progress of the Faith in the United States, the National Spiritual Assembly shared the following excerpt from a letter written on behalf of the Universal House of Justice to an individual:
"The pattern of spiritual and social life taking shape in clusters that involves study circles, children’s classes, junior youth groups, devotional meetings, home visits, teaching efforts, and reflection meetings, as well as Holy Day observances, Nineteen Day Feasts, and other gatherings, provides abundant opportunities for engagement, experience, consultation, and learning that will lead to change in personal and collective understanding and action."
We are indeed seeing these activities intensify in both number and vitality, as the images above from around the country remind us. We must also continue to support this growth through material means. At this point in the Bahá’í fiscal year, to be on track to meet the $52 million goal, contributions to the National Fund should total close to $34.6 million; however, as of December 25, we have about $26.9 million in contributions.
What are some ways for us, as the Champion Builders of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh, to ensure continued support of these 'society-building' activities in 'ever greater measures'?
As Bahá’ís, we have the privilege of having a direct relationship with each of the senior funds of the Faith, while at the same time, also maintaining a direct focus on continually supporting the National Fund. Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith.
Fundraising
Fundraising initiatives offer beautiful opportunities for everyone - children, youth, and adults alike- to participate in supporting the Funds of the Faith. Even when monetary contributions are not possible, these community efforts allow everyone to participate meaningfully through service, prayer, creativity, and shared endeavor. For guidance drawn from the Writings, along with practical resources to assist with planning fundraising events, we warmly invite you to visit the Fundraising tab on the Office of the Treasurer website.
As we lovingly plan and carry out fundraising activities, it is helpful to keep in mind that every Bahá’í fundraising event or activity should:
■ Strive to create love in the hearts of the believers
■ Build and strengthen the relationship between the believers and the institutions
■ Uphold the dignity of the Faith
■ Preserve the devotional aspect of giving to the Fund
■ Remain consistent with Bahá’í principles
■ Promote unity among believers

Planned Giving
Offering Appreciated Stock in Service to the Fund
One way to support the Bahá’í Fund is through a gift of appreciated stock or other securities. If these assets have been held for more than one year, donating them directly to the National Spiritual Assembly may eliminate capital gains taxes and provide a charitable income tax deduction. A gift of stock is one of the ways friends may choose to align their material resources with spiritual purposes.

“ALL MUST SURGE, BUT THE YOUTH MUST SOAR"
The Universal House of Justice, Ridván 2024
Youth Corner
Blessed is he who in the prime of his youth and the heyday of his life will arise to serve the Cause of the Lord of the beginning and of the end, and adorn his heart with His love. The manifestation of such a grace is greater than the creation of the heavens and of the earth. Blessed are the steadfast and well is it with those who are firm.
—Bahá’u’lláh
