Bahá’í National Fund Update

With hearts full of gratitude, the Office of the Treasurer expresses the deepest appreciation for the countless acts of generosity offered by Bahá’ís from all around the country. As of December 7, 2025, a total of $23.5 million has been contributed toward the National Fund goal of $52 million for the current Bahá’í fiscal year, which ends on April 30, 2026, less than five months away.

Every contribution —financial, service, prayer— strengthens the Institution of the Fund, fortifying our ability to provide the material resources required to support the goals of the Nine Year Plan. As the Universal House of Justice reminds us, it is the spirit of sacrifice and the love with which we give, not the amount, that attracts divine confirmations. As we reflect on the generosity and devotion shown by the friends, we are also grateful for what these contributions make possible. As the National Assembly shared in the letter for the Feast of Qawl, "supporting a national community like ours—with Bahá’í communities, Local Spiritual Assemblies, and Bahá’í groups spread over 1,500 localities—requires extensive organizational structures and financial resources." To see a glimpse of “the range and depth of what your sacrificial contributions make possible,” please find the full text of the Feast Letter here: CLICK HERE

Truly, each effort, each contribution, and each prayer offered in support of the Fund helps build the world envisioned by our beloved Faith.

As Bahá’ís, we have the privilege of maintaining a direct relationship with each of the senior funds of the Faith, while at the same time continually supporting the National Fund. Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions toward the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith as need arises.

Supporting the Faith Through a Donor-Advised Fund

"He bestows upon us the privilege of contributing to His Cause—the only effective instrument that can bring about the well-being of humanity." – Universal House of Justice

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a way to align your material means with your spiritual aspirations. You can offer cash or appreciated assets, receive an immediate tax benefit, and then recommend gifts to the Bahá’í Fund at the moments that feel most inspired. Your contribution can even grow tax-free, increasing its capacity to serve the Cause. And with one easy tax receipt and simple setup through many financial institutions, a DAF makes giving both heartfelt and convenient.

YOUTH CORNER

Through the Junior Youth Empowerment Program, junior Youth all around the country are advancing spiritually and intellectually and also contributing to the progress of their families and communities through acts of service. Recently, in Renton, Washington, a group of junior youth paused their study of the Bahá’í Writings for two weekends to serve their community. They collected contributions from around their neighborhood and donated them to Sustainable Renton, a grassroots nonprofit organization working toward food justice and sustainability. They also cooked several lasagnas for Lasagna Love, a nonprofit that helps to spread kindness and love by delivering home-cooked meals to those in need.

How has your JY or Youth group incorporated acts of service into your program?

We are looking for more submissions from YOUth! Please send us your reflections and stories about the Institution of the Fund or recent youth activities/events. Stories, pictures, and or videos can be sent to bahaitreasurersoffice@usbnc.org.
