Bahá’í National Fund Update
As of June 21, 2026, contributions toward the $54 million National Bahá’í Goal had reached $4.9 million. As we usher in the summer season, it's important to keep in mind that increased activities during these months require additional resources and material support; however, contributions to the Funds of the Faith often experience a shortfall during these vital months.
The summer months provide us with a precious opportunity to increase focus on our community education efforts. Summer Schools, Youth Camps, Youth Institutes - these are vital opportunities to connect the hearts of the friends, especially the youth, with the Funds of the Faith. Supporting these activities is of paramount importance. As we were reminded in the message from the National Spiritual Assembly to the Feast of Núr:
“... [A]n area of fund development that needs special attention is the education of children, youth, and young adults about the importance of contributing to the Bahá’í Funds. Available data shows that over 70 percent of contributions to the National Bahá’í Fund come from Bahá’ís of the baby boomer generation. The same pattern is true of contributors to the Regional and Local Funds."
Let's come together and make sure that both the spiritual and material support needed is available for these vital efforts.
May Bahá’u’lláh's love and blessings continue to shower upon you in your every effort.
As Bahá’ís, we have the privilege of having a direct relationship with each of the senior funds of the Faith, while maintaining a direct focus on continually supporting the National Fund. Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith.
Moments of Reflection
The unity of the believers, rich and poor alike, in their support of the Fund will be a source of spiritual confirmations far beyond our capacity to envisage.

Understanding Our Sacred Obligation
By contributing to the Bahá’í Fund, we connect to the sacred, as we do in prayer or in teaching the Faith. Not only does this act of giving bring divine blessings to our families and to us, but it also strengthens the love that binds us as individuals to the community and the institutions.
The Funds of the Faith are more than simply a place to send our money; they are the “lifeblood” of the institutions we are building and the indispensable activities in which we are engaged. The Bahá’í Fund is not about the material, it is about love, about relationships, and about obedience to the source of divine guidance. It is important for us to reflect on how participating in supporting the Bahá’í Funds helps to balance our spiritual and material lives, connect us with our Lord and the institutions established to build His Kingdom, and shape the outline of a new economy based on justice, equity, and the oneness of humanity. How does contributing strengthen the bond between the individual and the Faith? What effect do Bahá’í activities have on humanity?
“Contributing to the Bahá’í fund constitutes an act of spiritual discipline which is an intrinsic element of the devotional life of the individual. No believer should be unaware of the privilege of contributing to the advancement of the Cause of God, irrespective of his material circumstances. The practice of giving to the Fund strengthens the connection between the believer and the Cause and enhances his sense of identification with it. Divine confirmations redound upon those who offer a portion of their material resources in a spirit of sacrifice, motivated by their love of the Faith and their desire to assist in its progress.” ~ The Universal House of Justice, September 17, 1992
For Reflection:
If contributing to the Bahá’í Fund is an act of love and devotion, how does our participation deepen our relationship with Bahá’u’lláh, strengthen the bonds of community, and help build the world He envisions?

The Spiritual Obligation of Writing a Will
Bahá’u’lláh lovingly counsels us in the Kitáb-i-Aqdas: “Unto everyone hath been enjoined the writing of a will.” Writing a will is more than a legal task—it is an expression of care for those we love and a way to thoughtfully arrange our affairs in accordance with our spiritual values.
No matter our age or stage of life, having a will can bring peace of mind, help foster unity among family members, and ensure that our wishes are clearly understood. It also provides an opportunity to leave a lasting legacy in support of the Faith and the causes that are dear to our hearts.
The Office of the Treasurer is happy to accompany those who are ready to take this meaningful step and fulfill this spiritual obligation. A Writing of a Will booklet is available at: https://bahaitreasurer.us/bequests-and-wills.

“…the young Bahá’ís in every city should make a point of keeping in touch with local youth activities and clubs, and endeavoring to make their views known to as many young people in as many ways as possible…"
