Bahá’í National Fund Update
(Feast of Jamál- Beauty)
$49.2M
As of April 23, 2026
As of April 23, contributions toward the National Bahá’í Fund Goal had reached a total of $49.2 million, leaving $2.8 million to be raised over the next 6 days to achieve the goal. Together as Champion Builders of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh, let us arise - through sacrificial generosity, fundraising efforts, prayers, and united action to achieve this vital goal and continue the work of transforming human society. The Universal House of Justice reminds us,
“Bahá’u’lláh has written that, ‘… He who is the Eternal Truth—exalted be His glory—hath made the fulfillment of every undertaking on earth dependent on material means.’ The community of the Greatest Name is in this day embarked upon the mightiest of undertakings destined to give rise to the spiritualization of mankind and the transformation of human society." - Universal House of Justice, September 17, 1992
Please note: For contributions to count toward the $52 Million Fund goal for this fiscal year, they must be submitted by 11:59 p.m. Central Time on April 30 on the Online Contribution System (OCS) or mailed such that the envelope is postmarked by the post office no later than April 30
To contribute, click below, or please call: (847)733-3472
As Bahá’ís, we have the privilege of establishing a direct relationship with each of the senior funds of the Faith, while also continually supporting the National Fund. Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions toward the National Fund goal allow flexibility in supporting the activities and needs of the Nine Year Plan.
Fund Story
A young boy named Iqan received weekly spending money for snacks at school. He loved buying ice cream. After hearing stories about generosity in the path of God, he decided to stop buying treats and save the money to contribute instead.
Weeks later, during a family visit, his grandmother unexpectedly gave only him a gift of money—far more than what he had sacrificed. His family saw it as a sweet confirmation of the joy that follows sacrifice. - Adapted from “Stories on the Bahá’í Fund in Azerbaijan”
Planned Giving
“He, verily, shall recompense the charitable, and doubly repay them for what they have bestowed.“ - Bahá’u’lláh
Include the Faith in Your Plans
Planned giving is a simple way to include the National Spiritual Assembly in your financial plans—through gifts made during your lifetime or arrangements for the future.
This can include donating appreciated assets like stock, recommending grants from a donor-advised fund, giving from retirement accounts, or including the Faith in your will or estate plan—all in ways that can complement your personal financial goals.
