Bahá’í National Fund Update
As of April 1st, $40.9M has been contributed towards the Bahá’í National Fund goal of $50M
(For fiscal year 2024-25).
With less than four weeks remaining, we are $9.1M short of meeting the $50M goal for the year. We are confident that we can all come together as Champion Builders of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh, to meet the goal set before our community. Universal Participation is the key to achieving this victory.
How is your community participating in the Champion Builders Campaign?
Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith. Universal Participation will be the key to achieving this victory.
We received this beautiful note below recently from two youth after they participated in a Fund Education Workshop in their region:
"Attending the 'Young, Broke, and Spiritual' talk organized by the Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá’ís of the United States was a transformative experience for us as young Bahá’ís navigating the complexities of early adulthood. The speakers eloquently addressed the unique challenges faced by young Bahá’ís, particularly trying to maintain a deep commitment to spiritual growth and service while pursuing further education. They emphasized that true wealth lies not in material possessions but in the richness of our character and deeds. Truly, they highlighted for us Bahá’u’lláh’s teaching: 'Man’s merit lieth in service and virtue and not in the pageantry of wealth and riches.'
This perspective resonated deeply with us, inspiring a shift in how we perceive our current circumstances. The talk underscored the importance of dedicating time to serve humanity and give to the fund, even amidst personal financial limitations. It reminded us that the energy and enthusiasm of youth are invaluable assets in contributing to community building and social transformation. Reflecting on this, I feel encouraged to explore avenues of service within my community, recognizing that my capacity to make a meaningful impact is not hindered by financial limitation and not advanced by material wealth but rather enriched by the willingness to serve and contribute with sincerity and devotion. Think of the story of Cain and Abel!"

A Tax-Smart Way to Support the Fund
“…our contributions to the Faith are the surest way of lifting once and for all time the burden of hunger and misery from mankind, for it is only through the System of Bahá'u'lláh –Divine in origin- that the world can be gotten on its feet and want, fear, hunger, war, etc., be eliminated.” - Shoghi Effendi
Looking for a tax-smart way to contribute to the Fund? If you're 70½ or older, you can make a donation directly from your IRA to the National Spiritual Assembly through the IRA Charitable Rollover—without it being taxed!
