Bahá’í National Fund Update

As of January 12th, $28.8M has been contributed towards the Bahá’í National Fund goal of $50M

(For fiscal year 2024-25).

As of January 12th, the contributions to the National Baha'i Fund are 5% behind this time last year and $21.2M short of meeting the $50M goal for the year with less than four months remaining. We are confident that we can all come together as Champion Builders of the World Order of Bahá’u’lláh, to meet the goal set before our community. Universal Participation is the key to achieving this victory.

Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith.

PLANNED GIVING

Believers have the opportunity to contribute, in a tax-efficient way, to the Bahá’í Fund in both this life and the next through planned giving. By making arrangements for a gift of love to the Faith, individuals help to advance the Cause of God and share the message of Bahá’u’lláh with the world. Furthermore, this act of generosity not only supports the Faith’s progress but also profoundly impacts the soul of the giver, creating a spiritual legacy that endures.

For information on ways we can give to the Fund through Planned Giving, or to arrange a presentation through your Local Spiritual Assembly, visit bahaitreasurer.us/planned-giving, email plannedgiving@usbnc.org, or call 847-733-3569.

“ALL MUST SURGE, BUT THE YOUTH MUST SOAR"

The Universal House of Justice, Ridván 2024

YOUTH CORNER

The Universal House of Justice reminded us that, "All must surge, but the youth must soar" and as this reminder permeates communities across the country, many youth institute camps and conferences are being planned, and the youth are rising to amazing heights. It is a truly historic time.

Above is a video collage of two of the youth intensive camps that took place in Washington State: Youth Intensive Camp in Bellevue, Washington, and Dawn Breakers Youth Intensive in Renton, Washington. One of the coordinators for the Dawn Breakers Intensive described the event:

"We have read over 500 pages. The energy is simply great. [In the evenings], from every corner of this house, there is either the practice of music or art or joyful socializing and healthy conversations. What a beautiful group! I am enamored by our youth. Truly."

These types of activities and gatherings are often supported through the Institution of the Fund. How is your community supporting the youth?

Have you attended any Youth Institutes or gatherings lately? We’d love to hear from you. Please send us your reflections, stories, pictures, and or videos to bahaitreasurersoffice@usbnc.org.
