Bahá’í National Fund Update
As of June 30th, $6M has been contributed towards the Bahá’í National Fund goal of $50M (For fiscal year 2024-25).
Unrestricted (not earmarked) contributions towards the National Fund goal allow for flexibility in supporting the many activities of the Faith. Universal Participation will be the key to achieving this victory. To contribute, please visit https://ocs.bahai.us/ocs
Treasurers Welcome Webinars
The Office of the Treasurer hosted two webinars during the last week of June to welcome and orient treasurers and assistant treasurers. Over 160 participants heard about the twin duties of the role of the treasurer and of the Local Spiritual Assemblies: 1) providing education for the Friends on the Institution of the Fund, to connect their hearts with this sacred privilege and duty and inspire them to form a relationship with the funds of the Faith, and 2) duty of the Local Spiritual Assembly to be the diligent and trustworthy stewards of the funds of the Faith. The Office of the Treasurer hopes to follow up with all Treasurers in the next few weeks to share additional responses to the wonderful questions that were shared by the participants and also provide another opportunity to watch parts of the recording from the webinar. Below are examples of some of the feedback our office has received thus far regarding the webinars. We also received constructive feedback, which will assist us in our continued efforts to improve the content and delivery of our webinars.
